Frequently Asked Questions
Everything we get asked most often, answered honestly.
What makes Jack's Crackers different from store-bought crackers?
We make them by hand, in small batches, in a kitchen in Keene, NH. Each batch runs 32 to 38 bags. The ingredients are specific — real wine in the wine crackers, real bacon drippings in the Buttermilk Bacon, blackstrap molasses and dark rum in the Graham — and the flavors are designed to work on a board, not just on their own. Most crackers in a grocery aisle taste like the box they came in. These don't.
Where can I buy Jack's Crackers?
You can order directly from jackscrackers.com. We're also at select farmers markets in southern New Hampshire and Vermont. Our crackers are available through specialty stores and small retailers around the country as well — you can see where on our Locations page. If you're a specialty retailer interested in carrying our crackers, we're available through Faire and Mable, or you can reach out to set up a direct account.
How long do Jack's Crackers stay fresh?
Nine months, unopened — which is longer than most people expect from a cracker made without preservatives. Store them in a cool, dry place. Once you open a bag, they're best within a week or two.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We're available to specialty retailers through Faire and Mable, or directly for accounts that prefer to work outside the marketplace. Reach out through our wholesale page to start a conversation.
Can you make custom crackers for events or corporate gifts?
We do. Custom orders work best for weddings, corporate gifting, and specialty retail situations where a standard flavor lineup isn't quite right. Get in touch through our custom crackers page with what you have in mind — quantities, occasion, and any flavor preferences — and we'll let you know what's possible.
Are any flavors vegan?
Several flavors are vegan: Red Wine, White Wine, Garlic Herb, Tomato Basil, Lavender Rosemary, Cracked Pepper & Sage, Graham Crackers, Chocolate Graham, and Spicy Chocolate Mint. Buttermilk Bacon contains real buttermilk and bacon drippings and is not vegan. If you have a specific dietary question, reach out and we'll give you a straight answer.
Do you ship?
Yes, we ship from Keene, NH directly through jackscrackers.com. Bulk sizes are available online. If you're looking for a large quantity or a custom order, contact us directly and we'll work out the best way to get crackers to you.
