This cracker was created for a good friend from college who spent a period of time as a vegan. For a long time, his heart was true, but was lured back to the meat eating fold by that southern wonder of the morning that we call buttermilk biscuits with bacon gravy. This particular cracker was created for him, and you of course.
Made for a college friend who had been vegan for years — until buttermilk biscuits and bacon gravy made him reconsider his priorities. We respected his journey. Then we made him a cracker. Real buttermilk, real bacon drippings, a rich savory depth that doesn’t apologize for itself. Best with fig jam, sharp cheddar, or — and we say this with full confidence — peanut butter and chocolate chips.
